When the Water is Safer

The ocean and I are not exactly simpatico. Bodies of water and I have always had a love-hate relationship… but mostly hate. But this morning I came across an article on Yahoo! news where I think water would be the safer option than land. In the article was a video of millions of migrating hermit crabs on the beach.

Here, just watch….  (more…)

Dolphin Falls Under Attack by ‘Naughty Octopus’

I discovered this amusing article this morning and just had to share it. I enjoy how smart and mischievous octopus are.

This article was taken from here.

For the dolphin it seems to have been a painful lesson learned, and for the octopus, a joy ride it will not soon forget….

A scientist who studies dolphins off western Greece last week captured an incredible sequence of images — perhaps the first of their kind — showing a leaping bottlenose dolphin with a large octopus clinging to its belly.

The many ways being a four year old is hard! (As per my four year old)

Anne’s little guy Tobin makes me laugh so hard! This is a great example why. lol

Beautifully Blessed & Blogging

According to my four year old  son, being four is way harder than being two.Which just so happens to be the age of his younger brother.  Like many homes in the midwest and America, gathering around the table for dinner often brings about amazing and memorable conversations. Imaginary Facebook

Ashley and I ventured out into the blogging world at the same time. I love reading her posts, so I thought I’d share one of them here on my blog.

Pencilled Daydream

Is it just me or does anybody else have an imaginary Facebook? I don’t know about you, but I’ll be going about life and then something will happen and I’ll starting thinking in statuses.

Take this afternoon for example. I plopped onto the couch and ate a Swiss cake roll. Owen was smiling at me as he sat on my lap, and suddenly I pictured him asking for a bite. Then I started thinking about updating my Facebook status to: Owen asked for a Twinkie.  #Isaidyes.

Does anybody else do this?

The ridiculous thing is I hardly update my real Facebook status, but my imaginary Facebook is out of control. My imaginary friends are probably so annoyed with all of my updates.
