Musings from a promise-collector

Because it is Good Friday, I found myself listening to this song this morning. It is a beautiful rendition of How Great Thou Art sung by Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill on national television. She is so clearly worshiping as she performs, and you can see on the faces of those listening that it touches their hearts.

How great you are, God!

And when I think,

That God, His Son not sparing;

Sent Him to die,

I scarce can take it in;

That on the Cross,

My burden gladly bearing,

He bled and died

To take away my sin.

Then sings my soul,

My Savior God, to Thee,

How great Thou art!

How great Thou art!

Then sings my soul,

My Savior God, to Thee,

How great Thou art!

How great Thou art!
